It has a good warranty and is backed by a company that has been around for a long time. There have been a lot of new companies to enter the market in the last few years. Those companies may make good products but they don't have the system to support repairs of their products. Automatic pool cleaners need to repairs and parts replaced. The water and chemicals in the pool can be hard on the parts. And it saves a lot of money in the long run to replace parts instead of the whole robot.
